A state approved driver improvement course (defensive driving)

Traffic Citations:
If you recently received a citation, take it to the traffic court clerk and let them know you are interested in taking this course in lieu of a fine. Some citations may be dismissed without paying the fine and will prevent points from being added to your driving records.

If you have points already:
This course can give participants 2 points off the DMV
record and can be taken one time in any 12-month period.
